If you’ve ever wanted to add that dreamy soft blue color palette to your decor then this is the project for you.
Missy from Gypsy Magpie shares with us a tutorial on making over an old dresser in stunning Wythe Blue and the end result is amazing.
All it took was an old secondhand dresser, some paint and for added glamour, some cut glass handles.
You seriously could add any other pops of color that is blue-toned here. This can help keep the piece true to its hue if it starts to look more on the green side.
Personally, I love adding candles in holders of any kind – there is no ‘wrong’ here when it comes to which style.
A close up of the stunning glass handles is below.
While this ‘hides’ the handles more, I also wouldn’t mind seeing white knobs and pulls on a this color blue dresser.
The overall color is such a nice backdrop that even uniform white highlights from the draw hardware on the face would be elegant but not in an over the top way.
I love this project because it not only refreshes an old piece of wood furniture, the result will no doubt bring a complete fresh vibe to whatever space you place it in.
Ah the magic of just the right paint color! Check out BM Wythe Blue for not just a furniture makeover project but even for your walls.
