Decorative Anchor Bookend

Mrs. Scrimp from Scrimpalicious noticed a cast iron bookend pictured on a table’s bottom shelf while studying her PB catalog. The piece wasn’t even for sale, although that wasn’t a problem since Mrs. Scrimp didn’t plan on dishing out an exorbitant amount of money for it anyway. Instead, she just made her own for free using on-hand supplies. Mrs. Scrimp cut the anchor and base from a piece of camping pad foam which actually mimics the look of the cast iron.

Mrs. Scrimp was inspired by the iron bookend pictured in one of Pottery Barn’s American Classic Living Rooms.
