Lighting is everything. Bright lights, like those in a hospital, or department store, do not create ambiance, they make everything appear stark. When you are looking for ambiance, warmth, and mood, soft lighting is what you need. Chloe Crabtree from Celebrate and Decorate offers an inexpensive solution to creating outdoor lighting that sets the mood.
A trip to the dollar store, a hot glue gun, and some time, allowed Chloe to make an outdoor chandelier for her sister. Believe it or not the ring holding the lights is a set of hula hoops. How creative is Chloe? She warns us not to use real candles in the holders as they might burn the cording holding the chandelier together.
You can also bring this idea inside and hang it in a family room that had rustic or farmhouse decor. Using a grapevine wreath instead of the hoops would look great over a kitchen table setting as well. A great lighting element for very little money. Chloe’s design is simply charming.
