Containers with Chalkboard Labels

Ashlee from Two Naps By Noon really liked the chalkboard feature of some jars she saw at Pier 1. However, Ashley wanted her labels to be removable so she could wash the jars. That’s where some chalkboard paper and a large paper punch came in handy. Ashlee simply cut out her desired shapes and then popped them onto some pantry containers. Of course, these are great for basic labeling, but I love the idea of using them to remember cooking times and instructions too! Brilliant!

Burlap Easter Napkin Rings

You may remember the bunny ear napkin rings shared here on KOD a couple of weeks ago. Well, Trish from Uncommon Designs also couldn’t pass up on the adding some major cuteness to her table this Easter with a set of the napkin rings. Trish’s technique results in a seamless finish with bunny ears that are super sturdy and will not fray. Plus, she says they are easy to make and may not cost you a penny if you’ve got the materials on hand like she did!

Glitter Dragonfly Ornament

As expressed in one of her favorite poems, dragonflies hold a special meaning to Gail from Purple Hues and Me. So she was delighted to hack a cute, glittery green caterpillar dragonfly that she saw at Pier 1. The Easter ornament was easily duplicated using basic craft items Gail had on hand. Don’t they look like little dragonfly twins {giggle}?

Morena over at Morena’s Corner went a little wild with her Christmas décor this year by creating a couple of fun animal print ornaments for her tree. Morena stenciled the safari design onto a glass ornament using glass paints to create this unique ornament. Morena says, “No elves, snow, or bright colors on this ornament.  Just elegantly painted glass in a pattern that’s very trendy right now.”
