The look of mid-century modern furniture adds tailored sleek lines to any decor. It is elegant and appealing to the overall design theme.
The design appeals to those that want a sense of vintage without taking them back to Victorian times. Taylor from Comfort and Chaos originally wanted this tabletop design as a headboard.
She was inspired from Jen at House of Wood. When she realized that she already had a headboard that suited her needs she changed plans over to a coffee table.
The metal frame was constructed by a local fabricator but the rest was done by Taylor and her husband.
The wood pieces were stained several different colors to provide a rich texture and add dimension.
Taylor provides step by step instructions on how to complete the project as well as good pictures.
If you are looking to add a mid-century modern coffee table to your decor, this may be the table for you.
